He may be better known for his visual art or for his persistent criticism of the Chinese government, but artist Ai Weiwei has decided it’s time to branch out into another artistic field – that of the heavy metal music genre.
The artist has revealed that he’s written lyrics for nine tracks which will make up his debut album Divina Commedia, many of which were written during his 81-day-long detention in 2011.
