A COVID impact report that isn’t ‘all bad’

New data shows 15% of NSW cultural venues are mildly impacted, while 70% show loss of income from closures.

These days we are accustomed to taking the bitter with the sweet. This is especially so in the findings of the latest COVID-19 impact report tabled this week by Museums & Galleries of NSW (M&GNSW).

A year on from its initial report, some of the data was ‘expected’ – such as a dramatic drop in programming and loss of income – but there has also been some surprising results that have buoyed the peak body.
