$5.5M allocated for performing arts touring

$5.5 million for 16 creative projects visiting 151 locations around Australia has been allocated in the latest Playing Australia round.

The latest round of the Australia Council’s Playing Australia touring program has allocated $5.5 million to organisations around the country for tours across rural and regional Australia.

The funding allocation follows a one-off increase of $5 million to Playing Australia in April last year, made soon after the release of the National Performing Arts Touring Scan in March 2021.
