What did you want to be when you grew up?
An astronaut.
When did you know you would work in the arts?
My Dad was an artist so I always assumed that I could have some sort of creative career.
How would you describe your work to a complete stranger?
I say “I make films” and when they ask “what sort of films do you make?” I wait a beat before saying “horror”. I get mixed reactions, sometimes people start laughing.
