‘No budget’ to pay Christmas entertainers

Retail giant Myer is at the centre of an employment fracas when it was revealed this week that a Castle Hill store was recruiting performers who were later informed there was ‘no budget’ to pay them.

Sydney musician and teacher, Helen Perris, was passed information about an organisation seeking performers by a friend who saw a post on a community Facebook group for mothers.
