What is the key ingredient for a library of the 21st century? It would seem a simple enough question, however, the answer has become a much more dynamic, layered and nimble one.

In 2018, the hip international design blog Dezeen surveyed the most significant buildings to be unveiled that year.  Among the top ten, three were libraries: Christchurch Central Library, New Zealand, Qatar National Library and Calgary’s new Central Library and Library Place, Canada.
