Copyright industries now create more economic activity than manufacturing or health services in Australia.

In the last study of the economic contribution of Australia’s copyright industries in 2011, copyright ranked as Australia’s seventh biggest industry.

Just four years later copyright industries have jumped to the fourth spot, outranked only by financial services, mining and construction.
