Economic value of WA small to mediums revealed

A new report commissioned by the Chamber of Arts & Culture WA reinforces the importance of the small to medium sector.

The small to medium arts sector in Western Australia attracted a paying audience of over 1.2 million people in 2013, and generated $61 million from a state investment of $10.8 million, according to a new report.

Conducted by independent consultant Barry Strickland on behalf of the Chamber of Arts and Culture WA, the study – entitled Western Australia’s Small to Medium Arts Sector Report – is a broad-ranging analysis of the sector’s overall value.
