Justine Varga’s Photogenic Drawing has taken out this year’s Dobell Drawing Prize. Varga’s winning work challenges the distinction between photography and drawing, and has been derived in a dark room process, applying pigment to light-sensitive material under a long exposure. Varga considers photography as drawing with light.
