Latest batch of RISE funding allocates $25 million across the nation

‘This funding is an important step in the rejuvenation of Australia’s arts sector from COVID-19,’ said Minister Fletcher.

From regional Victoria to the Northern Rivers region of NSW, arts organisations across the country are celebrating the allocation of funding from the Morrison Government’s Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund.

The third tranche of RISE funding sees $25 million shared by 66 organisations, including Byron Writers Festival (which receives $182,000 towards the 2021 festival), Perth’s Barking Gecko Theatre Company ($570,000) and the Illuminate Adelaide Foundation ($350,000).
