Covid-19: SPA shares protocol to support productions

SPA thinks through protocols help to keep the show on the road. This is very serious.

Screen Producers Australia has distributed a new COVID-19 fact sheet to its members about enhanced medical procedures in production. They could be a last defence against catastrophe.

This means that most crews on traditional productions should know their managements have access to a clear set of actions. This should be reinforced by a link on the call sheet to the government’s resource page on COVID-19. All processes are a logical outgrowth of the standard health and safety measures but with an urgent edge. Hygiene protocols will be posted in prominent places, and crews should be inducted into their provisions.
