A new project is calling on artists to submit work that will be sent beyond the stratosphere.

Artists are being asked to compose original one-minute works in either sound or audio-visual, which will then be transferred to a golden record that will eventually be sent into outer space.

An Aphids project created in association with Performance Space and Vitalstatistix and titled Forever Now, the idea was inspired by the Voyager Records, which were sent into space by NASA in 1977 and curated by Carl Sagan and Ann Druyan.
