Tasmania mourns arts advocate Jeremy Ball

A passionate supporter of the arts, Launceston’s Deputy Mayor died in a car accident on Monday.

Jeremy Ball, an actor and NIDA graduate who went on to become Deputy Mayor of Launceston, Tasmania, died in a car crash on the Bass Highway on Monday.

A passionate supporter of the arts, Ball is remembered as compassionate, energetic, and enthusiastic. Aged just 45, he is survived by his wife Karina and their two young children, Griffin and Jasper.
