Producers of the award-winning musical The King and I have announced the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute as their charity partner for the production’s Melbourne season.
Opera Australia and John Frost will put on an exclusive dress rehearsal performance on 8 June, with all proceeds of the 600-ticket sale going to towards the charity for their research on conditions affecting children, including those which are often untreatable, such as cancer and genetic disorders.
