Creating Australia appoints CEO

Community arts manager Maz McGann will become the first CEO of the government-funded arts advocacy organisation Creating Australia.

Creating Australia was formed in June 2013 as part of the Australia Council’s National Sector Development Initiative with funding for three years from the Community Partnerships program. it was the result of a sector forum which identified the need to raise the sector’s visibility, share knowledge and broker new opportunities particularly for the support of smaller companies.
