Adelaide Festival of Ideas has handpicked former Crikey editor, Sophie Black, to take the helm as director for 2013.

Returning from maternity leave in Melbourne, Black is more than equipped to lead Australia’s oldest ideas forum, which for the first time will align with Adelaide Film Festival in October. Black will fill the place of former executive producer, Sandy Verschoor, who is currently working with Adelaide City Council.
