Five West Australian artists receive financial boost

The recipients of the inaugural Emerging Artist Program have been announced this week by Artsource, Western Australia’s peak body for visual arts. 


Funded in partnership with the Constantine Family Foundation, the Emerging Artists Program will help artists within their first five years of practice or fine art training to create new works and engage with a professional mentor. The 2013 grant recipients are: Abdul-Rahman Abdullah, Kieron Broadhurst, Emma Buswell, Matthew McVeigh and Joanna Sulkowski.
