Sydney will be littered with literature this month as the city’s street cleaners are reinvented as roving treasure troves of poetry.

As part of the 2013 Sydney Writers’ Festival, the garbage gobbling vehicles will be graffitied with verses by celebrated scribes, sweeping the gutters with sonnets, couplets and stanzas.
