Tasmanian Regional Arts appoints new CEO
Following a national search, Tasmanian Regional Arts (TRA) has announced that Alison Copley will step into the role as CEO from January next year.
Originally from Adelaide, Copley is a Winston Churchill recipient and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Arts and Cultural Management from the University of South Australia. She is currently based in Cairns where she was the CEO of the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair.
Sue Baker, President of TRA said the State Executive Committee is thrilled to welcome Copley to the organisation, ‘Alison brings with her a track record of outstanding success in TRA’s key program areas including community arts and cultural development and experience in the promotion and presentation of arts in a regional context having worked in Far North Queensland and the Northern Territory.’
