Why be a peer reviewer?

Australia Council has opened up its lists of peer reviewers and participation can have long term rewards.

Under the new peer review system, introduced last year, the Australia Council draws from a pool of 600 peers to assess funding applications.

Unlike in the past – when a smaller number of peers were appointed for three years and could not apply Australia Council funding in that time – you can now be an active funding applicant in one round and an assessor in another.
