Sponsorships and partnerships are two very different concepts. With a sponsorship, one entity provides financial support to another to achieve promotional advantages. With a partnership, strictly speaking, each entity shares the responsibilities, risks and earnings of the arrangement. Both arrangements will see the artists getting cash but there’s a very different quid pro quo in each.
