Established in Melbourne in 1966, is well-known for creating sophisticated and powerful works for young people. Over the past 50 Years, Arena has performed for more than 500,000 people in 15 countries. More recently, Arena has established itself as a leader in innovation, collaborating with young people in their own communities and using contemporary technology and artistic practices to develop works for professional production.
In 2018, Arena relocated to Bendigo where it now makes its home at The Engine Room, in the City’s vibrant and growing arts precinct. This move was made possible through the support of the Victorian State Government and the Company’s ground-breaking collaboration with the City of Greater Bendigo. The same year saw the premiere of two major works, Robot Song and Air Race, as well as school workshop programs throughout Victoria and performances in Sydney and Beijing.
Our ambitious plans to grow our program, reach, impact and advocacy are well in train. For more information on the Company, please visit our website https://arenatheatre.com.au

An interest in the performing arts and/or youth and community engagement would be desirable.
