2020 Peace Motion Graphics Competition

The world today is facing complex and interconnected challenges that block the path toward peace. When each one of us chooses dialogue and cooperation over conflict and competition, we can all move closer to a peaceful world.

The Sunhak Peace Prize Foundation is holding a motion graphics video competition to raise awareness of the various themes of peace worldwide and expand the culture of peace. Choose a peace theme from the list below and explore the topic and achievements of those who are working to further peace in that area. Then showcase your artistic and technical skills to create a motion graphics video to share with the world what you have learned. This competition is open to everyone.

There is no restriction on the length of the motion graphics video. Your work must be original. You may enter as an individual or team. Only one submission is allowed per individual either as individual or team. Submit your work, submission form and signed terms and conditions form to sunhakcompetition@gmail.com.

Submission period: August 1, 2020, to August 31, 2020.

Awards

Grand Prize: USD 5000 cash prize for 1 entry

Semi-finalist: USD 1000 cash prize for 3 entries

Runner-up: USD 300 cash prize for 20 entries

Honorable mention: USD 25 gift card prize for 30 entries

Judging: Judging will take place in September in two phases - an offline and online phase.

The Sunhak Peace Prize Award is a biennial award given to individuals and organizations that have contributed greatly to peace with the impact of making the world better for future generations.

Our laureates include former President of Kiribati Anote Tong, fisheries scientist Dr. Modadugu Vijay Gupta, mother of refugee education Dr. Sakena Yacoobi, medical hero Dr. Gino Strada, FGM activist and world class model Waris Dirie, President of African Development Bank Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, President of Senegal Macky Sall, and leader of religious harmony Bishop Munib A. Younan.
