Regional Tourism Bushfire Recovery Grants

On 11 February 2020, the Australian Government announced $76 million for rebuilding Australian Tourism in bushfire affected regions to protect jobs, small businesses and local economies by helping get tourists travelling into bushfire affected regions. Austrade is administering the Regional Tourism Bushfire Recovery Grants program (the Program), a $10 million grants program.

The Program has two funding streams which, together, will support events, concerts, festivals and visitor attractions in fire affected regions to assist with recovery efforts and encourage international and domestic visitors to come back to the regions.

Applications for the Program are now closed. Information on grants awarded can be viewed at grants.gov.au and searching by GO3689 for Stream 1, and GO3955 for Stream 2.
