The Next Wave Festival brings a new narrative in 2014.

Madonna Arms by I am Trying to Kiss You

Australia’s biennial festival for emerging artists will take over Melbourne for one month in 2014. The Next Wave festival will celebrate its 30^th anniversary from 16 April to 11 May under the title New Grand Narrative.

This time around the festival is specially curated to flow like a narrated story with a beginning, climax and end. Next Wave’s Artistic Director Emily said this will allow audiences to take their time enjoying the event or experience it all in one weekend.
