Australia’s biennial festival for emerging artists will take over Melbourne for one month in 2014. The Next Wave festival will celebrate its 30th anniversary from 16 April to 11 May under the title New Grand Narrative.

This time around the festival is specially curated to flow like a narrated story with a beginning, climax and end. Next Wave’s Artistic Director Emily said this will allow audiences to take their time enjoying the event or experience it all in one weekend.
