Organisers of the upcoming 40th anniversary of the Castlemaine State Festivals in March 2015 have announced some key programming choices ahead of the launch in December 2014.
The biennale festival visual arts program will include an installation by artist Patrick Pound entitled The Museum of Holes 2015, presented in the Beth Sinclair Gallery at the Castlemaine Art Gallery and Historical Museum. The installation will be a curated selection of artworks and objects taken from the collection, drawing upon Castlemaine’s digging and mining history.
