AAPPAC is the peak cultural body in the Asia-Pacific region. Its members rank among the most highly regarded performing arts centres in the region and include the Sydney Opera House and centres in Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Seoul, Honk Kong, Mumbai, Melbourne, Auckland as well as Macau, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand and the Philippines.
The announcement was made at the annual Conference Daejon in South Korea this week.
