A festival within a festival, the inaugural Tasmanian Cabaret Festival will take place over 7-8 July as part of the 2014 Festival of Voices, expanding on the existing cabaret program at the festival hub, Voicebox, at City Hall.

Produced in partnership with Allison Farrow and dell’Arte Productions, the new festival seeks to build on the growing popularity of cabaret as an art form, providing developmental opportunities for local artists while also exposing local audiences to the best performers in the field.
