Woodford Folk Festival to feature over 500 acts

Beth Orton, Matt Corby, Tim Finn and trio The Basics are to feature at this year’s 28th annual Woodford Folk Festival, which will see over 500 acts performed in 28 venues with a total of 1235 shows.

The festival, now in its 28th year spans six days, offering different musical styles including indie folk, acoustic folk, Celtic dance rock, cabaret pop, reggae soul, with traditional indigenous and contemporary music.

A highlight is set to be the large contingent of Australian musicians including The Basics, Clare Bowditch, Blue King Brown, The Break, Buffalo Tales, Chance Waters, Phoebe Starr, Jordie Lane and debutant Matt Corby.
