Good conferences not only teach they also inspire, challenge, give us new perspectives, connect us with peers, and create awareness of systemic issues in the industry while providing solutions to them.

In 2015, forums and conferences such as Making Time: Arts and Self-Care at Footscray Community Arts Centre helped bring attention to the problem of burn out, and the Australian Theatre Forum taught us to question and challenge the role of art.

Set to inspire, challenge and teach, the Australian arts community offers a plethora of conferences throughout the year, with many yet to announce dates and details for 2016. In the meantime, we have rounded up ten of the best, including Regional Arts Australia in Dubbo, All About Women in Sydney, our very own ArtsHub 2016 Melbourne Conference taking place on Friday 12 February in Melbourne.
