The success of a number of internationally acclaimed festivals has made Adelaide the envy of the much larger eastern capitals and helped put it on the map.

The city boasts the second biggest Fringe Festival in the world (behind Edinburgh), the Adelaide Festival of the Arts, Womadelaide, Cabaret Festival, OzAsia Festival, Comeout Children’s Festival and the International Guitar Festival just to name a few.
