It’s time to Play!
This October School Holidays, The Pavilion Performing Arts Centre Sutherland brings back its annual Play! Kids Festival for 2024. For one week only, Southern-Sydney’s newest entertainment venue turns into a kids-only playground with a range of performances, workshops and concerts from some of Australia’s best children’s performing arts companies.
Play! is not only Southern Sydney’s biggest children’s art festival, but it also won’t break the bank for parents. With mainstage performance tickets priced just $29, workshops for $15, and a slew of free activities and competitions, there’s fun for everyone throughout the entire program.
The Play! Kids Festival will feature beloved theatre companies and productions including Peter and the Wolf by The Metropolitan Orchestra, comedian Tahir with his new show The World’s Best Worst Magician and duo comedy-theatre group The Listies whom you might recognise from ABC, bringing their brand-new riotous touring show Make Some Noise. Rounding off the program is the theatre-puppet production, A Little Bit Of Blue, which also has an accompanying puppetry workshop kids can enjoy post-show.
