Textile Workshops with Shuh Lee
Join us at Bundoora Homestead for a series of special textile-based workshops with Melbourne designer/craft extraordinaire Shuh Lee! Over a series of 6 weeks, participants will be guided through a series of drawing, painting and felting techniques to create your own decorative tea-towels and textile-based artworks. All materials provided. Places strictly limited – book your spot to avoid disappointment! Recommended for ages 16+

Program
Workshops 1-3 Create your own tea towel (28 October, 4 November & 11 November)
Participants will have the opportunity to draw and paint their own tea towels with fabric paint and markers. Each week will focus on a different theme including native flowers and wild-life.
Workshops 4-6 Create your own Textile Artwork (18 November, 25 November, 9 December)
Participants will have learn hand-stitching and collage skills to create their own felt artworks on linen. Each week will explore a different theme, including faces, flowers and polka dots.
About the Facilitator
Shuh Lee is a designer/maker based in Thornbury, Victoria. Through her label ‘shuh.’, she is always experimenting with colours, fabric and all things crafty. Shuh comes from a fashion background, and from there she developed a love for hand stitching, illustrations, and textiles which became the core of her practice. Cost
$ 35 per class

Join us in the Café!
Our Café is open, offering a variety of pies, quiches, pastries, soup, scones, cakes and coffee. It is open from 11am-3pm and the perfect place to grab a bite after your class ends.
