SWELL Sculpture Festival is an award-winning outdoor art experience!

Visit Queensland’s largest outdoor sculpture festival along Currumbin Beach from September 9-18, 2022. Immerse in the contemporary sculpture exhibition set among the 1km stretch of the stunning natural landscape of Currumbin Beach, Gold Coast.

The annual SWELL Sculpture Festival is a free and all-inclusive 10-day outdoor sculpture exhibition, by the people for the people. A celebration of narratives and stories spoken through the artworks produced by local,national, and international artists. There is something for everyone at SWELL.

SWELL Sculpture Festival 2022 will showcase over 70 large-scale sculptures and over 50 smaller-scale works of art, accompanied by performing arts, created by nationally and internationally renowned artists to be presented as a free public exhibition between  9 – 18 September 2022 along Currumbin Beach.

Additionally, pop-up exhibitions will be presented as northerly SWELL in Helensvale, and the newly activated Industrial SWELL at The Boat Works, Coomera.

The SWELL Smalls Gallery will be presented along Currumbin Beach, with SWELL Fringe Festival boasting artistic programming including masterclasses, artist panels and artistic culinary experiences, live music and SWELL Art Parties.
