Get set to blur boundaries between art and nature at the Queen Victoria Art Gallery in Tasmania.
Strange Nature is both a celebration of Royal Park’s history and natural science collection – and a collision of art and science at its most bizarre.
QVMAG is home to one of the oldest and most significant natural science collections in Australia and the Royal Park site has proudly housed all the wonders of these collections for over 130 years.
Strange Nature immerses you into the art of major contemporary artists, national and Tasmanian, to display the weird and wonderful facets of the natural world that inspire their versions of plants and animals.
