Festival of Voices is a proud multigenerational festival, catering for all ages, and creating joyful singing experiences for all members of the family. Bring the kids out this winter to participate in group singing at the popular outdoor bonfire event the ‘Big Sing’ at Mac Point. Evoke history and reflection at the Female factory event ‘Walk with me’ as we remember and recognise the stories of women who have often been forgotten from history.
Be inspired by pop-up choirs taking over locations across Hobart and the many youth choirs joining this year’s program. Children and Young Adults take part in many of the choirs performing at various events through the festival and Tasmanian Primary Schools play a strong role in one of the festivals most popular events – Young Tasmania Sings.
