Set at a National Youth Drama Camp, this one-act adaptation of Shakespeare’s comedy follows four drama students who wake up one morning to discover that they have been abandoned by the rest of their cast. The final night performance is looming, and they have to madly re-invent A Midsummer Night’s Dream so that it can be done with four actors.
Our cast bring Gillette Elvgren’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic text to life in a new and captivating way, incorporating techniques of Commedia dell’arte, physical comedy, clowning and Lecoq.
