A story that is global in reach, underpinned by the tumultuous lives of Ted Hughes, Sylvia Plath and Assia Wevill. The play has a multilingual component that has been carefully preserved in it’s Romanian translation. The magic, surrealist temporality, as the girl investigates others’ lives in a mysterious library, is a theme that is dear to Romanian psyche. The famous playwright Eugene Ionesco and the surrealist poet Tristan Tzara are both Romanian. Ionesco was a great admirer of surrealism and an Avant-Garde playwright, while Tristan Tzara played a key role in the literary movements Dada, Symbolism, Avant-Garde and Surrealism.
