This exhibition celebrates sculptor Michael Meszaros’ 50 year career as a full-time, self-supporting artist. Michael has produced a number of well-known public works throughout Melbourne, Australia and internationally. His work includes portraits, relief sculptures, exhibition sculptures and his particular speciality, medals.
Michael has won a number of prizes in Australian and international competitions and has works in many local and international collections, including the British Museum. He has a number of major works in the US, Belgium, Japan and Papua New Guinea. He was awarded Order of Australia medal (OAM) in 2012.
This is your opportunity to view his retrospective for free while they are exhibited at the exhibition rooms at Owen Dixon Chambers East until 24 June 2022.
