In ‘Leftovers of a Ghost’, artists Emme Orbach and Noah Spivak collaborate on a new experiment-based installation. They explore one central question: what happens when you allow a chemical reaction to dictate the outcome of an artwork?
‘Leftovers of a Ghost’ encourages chemical substrates to evolve throughout the course of the exhibition. Orbach and Spivak collaborate with natural forces that are beyond their individual control. They exploit the moment where art and science meet. Fascinated by the ephemeral, they create new work informed by practice-led research.
In ‘Leftovers of a Ghost’, the artwork will cease to exist.
‘Leftovers of a Ghost’ is presented in association with National Science Week 2022.
