“Glimpse of Another Universe” solo exhibition invites you into a fresh perspective where material and light converge to reveal a new art movement.
In this series of paintings and sculptures, fluorescent pigments, phosphorescent coatings, transparent layers, and reflective surfaces reveal hidden depths and subtle optical phenomena — where, in effect, Michal sculpts with light.
Born on Poland’s Baltic coast in the early 1980s, Michal Plis returned to art in 2022 after two decades in IT, channelling his neurodivergent focus into vibrant, abstract forms.
Each work pulses with quiet energy, dissolves boundaries, and invites you to explore Michal’s universe — both alien and familiar — long after the gallery lights go out.
