Join us for a screening of the 2019 comedy-drama film ‘The Farewell’ alongside a short film feature, ‘Ripples’, produced by Swinburne film students.
‘The Farewell’ follows Billi, a Chinese American woman who learns her grandmother has a terminal illness. The family decides to keep the diagnosis a secret, which leaves Billi torn.
‘Ripples’ is a short film documentary that follows the journey of former diver Ted Tsang, his struggle with a career-ending medical condition and his relationship with his parents.
Town Hall Gallery will be open late. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase at the Arts Bar.
