Festival of Voices’ purpose is to experience the transformative power of singing. We encourage people to gather and experience Tasmania during the winter months, because we think we do winter pretty well down here!
Since 2005, the state’s original marquee winter event has become known as Australia’s premiere celebration of the voice, attracting audiences of 30,000 people over two weeks in July.
Each year we put together a varied and rich program showcasing choral, contemporary and cabaret while providing a range of educational opportunities and experiences to enlighten the darkest of winters.
There are shows all over the State from Hobart to Launceston to the stunning East Coast. So have a look online and explore what is one of the most diverse and entertaining line-ups you will find at a singing festival. There is truly something for everyone.
