Level: Beginner/Intermediate
In this 5 week course, you will learn conga technique and practice several different strokes such as base, open slap, closed slap, open tones etc
You will learn and practice combinations of strokes.
Patterns and style will suit most Brazilian music styles, Reggae and Funk but can be applied to other genres.
The entire course is based on 1 conga play, seating on a stool
Cost:
Early Bird Special. Book and Pay before Sunday 22 June: $100 for the 5 week course
Book and Pay between 23 June and 27 June 2025: $125.00 for the 5 week course
Non-Refundable. No refund or swap for mixed classes. Must attend 5 consecutive weeks.
Transfer to 3rd party OK if pre-arranged with the organiser at least 24 hours prior.
What to bring:
Bring your own Conga. Congas not provided
Bring stool to sit on
Bring Large towel or small mat (to protect floors)
