On Sunday 4th July, 12pm City of Darebin is hosting a NAIDOC Week Heal Country Aboriginal Flag Raising in Bundoora Park which will include a Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country by a Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Traditional Owner.

 After the Flag Raising, Bundoora Homestead Art Centre will be open to view Uncle Brian Birch’s exhibition Under The Clearest Blue Sky.

The City of Darebin makes a significant investment in the arts and creative sector operating three iconic arts and cultural facilities – Darebin Arts Centre, Northcote Town Hall Arts Centre and Bundoora Homestead Art Centre – each known for delivering strong and high-profile arts programs that regularly feature and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and culture.
