Bell Shakespeare’s National Teacher Conference is back for 2022 and this time we’re welcoming you on site, as well as online. Join us at Pier 2/3 or watch live from the comfort of home for an enriching weekend of reflection on Shakespeare and the way we teach his plays.
Hear from a broad range of speakers as we discuss innovative approaches, new concepts, proven tips and tricks for classroom practice, and stimulating ideas about Shakespeare.
This year we are excited to announce that our speakerssharing their insights will be actor, author and creative producer Ben Crystal (UK) (co-author of the renowned Shakespeare’s Words), Founder of Shakespeare Behind Bars Curt L. Tofteland (USA), actor and academic Dr Jane Montgomery Griffiths (VIC), and Dr Kate Flaherty (ACT) from the Australian National University.
More exciting speakers will be announced soon.
Teachers may register for the in-person event which includes on-site lunch and refreshments at Bell Shakespeare HQ at Pier 2/3, or join us online and watch the live-streamed event.
Please note, in-person registrations will be allocated in order of booking until sold out, and are strictly limited.
