Join us at Bundoora Homestead Art Centre and discover the boundless possibilities of handmade books. Participants will be introduced to some foundational techniques for making books by hand while exploring a range of formats and styles. Whether your interest lies in artists books, journalling, reading or simply making something beautiful by hand, these sessions will provide you with the skills and resources to set you on your way. Session 1 | Saturday 19 October | 11am – 1pm: Folded books
Session 2 | Saturday 2 November | 11am – 1pm: Glued books
Session 3 | Saturday 9 November | 11am – 1pm: Simple sewn structures

About The Facilitator
Stephanie Hicks is a visual artist working primarily across drawing, sculpture and textiles. Stephanie is passionate about fostering positive creative and social outcomes within the community. She brings extensive experience in workshop programming and facilitation from roles in libraries, galleries and community spaces, and from alongside her art practice.
