The Adelaide Festival Board has announced the extension of the contracts of Joint Artistic Directors Neil Armfield AO and Rachel Healy for a further two festivals, culminating in 2021.

Their highly anticipated debut program in 2017 saw the Adelaide Festival achieve its highest box office in history, with ticketed attendance across the program up nearly 9%.
