General Manager and co-CEO of Circus Oz, Lou Oppenheim, has announced that she will be moving on from the role at the end of February 2019 to take up a role in Create Infrastructure within Create NSW.

Having joined the organisation at the start of 2013, Oppenheim has overseen a period of significant transition and change for Circus Oz. This has included the establishment of the new home base in Collingwood, the engagement of a new Artistic Director and a significant shift in the company’s operating and artistic model. The breadth of programs now delivered by the organisation has significantly expanded, including a tripling in the number of community engagement participants, a substantive growth in the support provided for the independent circus sector, and the launch of The Melba Spiegeltent as a performance and community venue.
