Queensland’s celebration of LGBTIQ+ arts and culture – MELT: Festival of Queer Arts and Culture – has announced the appointment of prominent theatre maker Emily Gilhome as the festival’s 2019 Guest Director.
Gilhome has been involved with the festival since its inception as a performer, producer and audience member. In 2007 she created Oscar Production Company to promote Brisbane artists and cultivate an inclusive creative community.
